Life Update:
I'm off to a good start this final year! I always skipped out on taking an art elective at school mostly because I wasn't comfortable drawing with other people and also because of the fact that I didn't want to be told what to draw. I pushed myself this year to take it and much to my surprise, I'm really enjoying it!
My assignment was to demonstrate the use of lines to create form, value and texture. I think I knocked it all off in one shot xD I challenged myself to do it solely with inks, a medium I'm not fluent with, but nonetheless, I'm really proud of the result! I can only imagine what other projects will come by this year, and I'll be more than delighted to share all those with you guys (:

Paper: Canson recycled bristol paper (9x12)

"Nathan W"? Fascinating... I'm placing my money on the W standing for Whittington. Lovely town in Wales. The legend of Robin Hood cropped up in that area, you know. And if not Whittington, then possibly Willingham. Or Wellington. Or Washington. Or Walters. Perhaps I should stop. Suffice it to say, the bird is lovely. Well drawn, and well done.
